Tax efficiency solutions

An important area of our activity is consulting on the effective use of solutions and tax reliefs provided by the legislator. As part of our support in the area of tax efficiency, we carry out projects in the following areas, among others:

  • Reorganisation of existing structures and selection of the optimal legal form of business / form of taxation;

  • Complete implementation of innovation-related reliefs such as R&D relief, IP Box, prototype relief, robotisation relief, increased 50% deductible costs for employees covering: (i) estimating the amount of tax benefits, (ii) obtaining the necessary tax interpretations confirming the right to a tax exemption / tax credit, (iii) developing templates of the necessary records, forms, (iv) training of personnel responsible for accounting for tax credits and exemptions;

  • Gaining the status of a so-called Polish Holding Company allowing non-taxation of income from the sale of shares by the holding entity;

  • Confirmation of the right to apply a preferential VAT rate or exemption from VAT;

  • Implementation of so-called hypothetical debt financing costs;

As part of each of the tax efficiency projects we carry out on behalf of our clients, we estimate the size of the expected tax benefit. We also assess the level of tax security, i.e. the risk of challenging the use of certain preferential tax solutions, and identify the costs necessary to be incurred in order to implement the selected model / solution.

Our remuneration for the implementation of tax efficiency projects is generally calculated based on the size of the tax / contribution benefit achieved in connection with our activities (the so-called success fee).
